A MAN is fighting for his life after a crash on a Malvern road.
He was standing by his parked car with his three-year-old son when the accident happened yesterday.
Worcester police said a Suzuki GSX-R1100 motorbike travelling in the opposite direction crashed into the side of the red Vauxhall Cavalier.
It happened on the B4211 Rhydd Green to Hanley Swan road at around 3.25pm.
The man had stopped his car on a grass verge and was getting his son out when the accident occured.
He was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
His son received leg injuries and was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The motorcyclist suffered minor injuries.
"This is a serious road traffic collision in which three people were injured," said PC Howard Lathan.
"I am keen to speak to anyone in the area who may have witnessed the collision or indeed have any information about it."
