A MAN who went missing while visiting Worcester for a stag night has been found with severe head injuries.
Thomas Wilkes, who had not been seen since losing the rest of his party in Tramps nightclub last Saturday, was discovered by a member of staff at the fruit market in Cromwell Street at 3.15am today.
Tom, from Sedgley, near Dudley, was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital and is currently in a critical condition.
The 21-year-old is due to be transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham later today.
Det Sgt Sergeant Keith Weale of Worcester police said it appeared the man had fallen through a roof.
"Tom was found in the fruit market in Cromwell Street, not far from the Maximilian Hotel where he was supposed to have been staying with friends and family on Saturday night," he said.
"It would appear he has fallen through a roof and police enquiries are continuing into how he received his injuries."
Tom was last seen at Tramps nightclub in Angel Place at 1am when he became separated from the rest of his stag night party.
His disappearance and his separation from his family and friends had baffled police, and was entirely out of character.
