TWO lucky Evening News readers will never be ticked off again after scooping prizes in a competition.
Barbara Johnson and Malcolm Winwood, both of St Peter's, won a Citizen Eco-Drive watch in the give-away, backed by city jeweller Peplows.
"We had more than 500 entries," said Sarah Taylor, Evening News promotions executive.
"The watches are valued at £170 each."
The Evening News teamed up with Peplows to give away the watches during the Week of Time organised by the High Street jewellers, between Wednesdays, May 8 and 15.
Readers were asked to collect one token from each paper between Tuesday, May 7, and Thursday May 9 and had to answer the question "what is the watch made of?"
The answer was titanium. The watch harnesses power from any artificial light source to permanently recharge its battery.
