YOUNGSTERS at a Worcester school brushed up on their talents when a volunteer artist visited for the week.
As part of National Art Week, schools throughout the country were invited to sign up for the project and be matched with a volunteer artist.
The Riverside School, Barbourne, was partnered by Chris Barber who went along to help the pupils learn about self and self-esteem.
"The BBC have sponsored the project, and Harry Enfield has been the face of it," said Kali Crawford, deputy head at the school.
"Chris did a wonderful job and they produced some very good art work in pastels, paints and all sorts.
"It's the first time I've ever seen the project, which ran from Monday, June 17 to Friday 21, and it really worked ever so well.''
She said that Mr Barber has volunteered to come back to the school to do some more work with the eight-to14-year-old pupils, who suffer emotional and behavioural difficulties.
