I AM not sure that Mr Mountford's summary of the teaching of all religions (You Say, June 17) is all that accurate.
Christianity teaches all men and women are equal in relation to God, rather than necessarily to each other.
However, He has ensured that some men should rule over others. That their rule is often hereditary reflects the importance of family in God's creation.
It is through the dynasty of King David that the Saviour came into the world. I would thus argue that monarchy combined with aristocracy and democracy is the most Biblical form of government.
