A 61-year-old father fighting for his life following a crash near Malvern at the weekend has died.
Trevor Dyke was lifting his three-year-old son out of his red Vauxhall Cavalier on the B4211 Rhydd Green to Hanley Swan Road at 3.25pm on Sunday when a Suzuki GSX-R1100 motorbike ploughed into the side of the vehicle.
Mr Dyke, of Tolley Road, Kidderminster, died on Monday afternoon.
His son received leg injuries and was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital, but his condition was not known as the Evening News went to press today.
