LIFESAVERS are being urged to drop into Worcester Rugby Club as the National Blood Service holds a collection session tomorrow.
Sixways players Craig Chalmers and Duncan Roke teamed up with the service's mascot Billy Blood Drop to promote the event, which takes place between 1pm and 7.15pm.
Kathy Leather, the club's commercial manager, said it was very pleased to host the collection session.
"This is a very important issue and it is one that that could touch anyone at any moment in time," she said.
"As a sports club, we are interested in people's health, so we are delighted to host the collection.
"We would urge people to come along, even if it's just to talk to the nurses about any fears they might have. Giving blood really could save someone's life."
