A PUPIL at Blessed Edward Olcorne RC School combined her interests in art and science to design a poster for the Worcestershire Festival of Science.
Annemarie Cracknell was invited by staff at the school to design the poster for the festival, which runs throughout this week.
"Annemarie is a dab hand at art," said dad Martin Cracknell.
"I think they were expecting something quite flat and they were taken aback when they saw the poster," he said.
"The idea was to try to incorporate a series of different items representing the sciences. There are droplets of water, atoms with circling electrons, ants and flowers."
Annemarie has just completed her GCSEs and is pondering future options.
Earlier this month she was made Evesham Carnival Queen and wore a dress she designed herself.
The Worcestershire Science Festival is a week of activities, including lectures and competitions, to promote the sciences in schools across the region.
