AN open-air production of a family comedy is being staged at Forge Mill Museum this week.
Redditch Amateur Theatre Society presents Charley's Aunt at the Riverside venue from Friday until Sunday.
The classic Victorian comedy by Brandon Thomas follows the madcap events of three lovestruck men.
The imminent visit of Charles Wykeham's aunt Donna Lucia from Brazil provides an excuse for Charles and Jack to invite their partners to meet her.
When a telegram arrives postponing Donna Lucia's visit, panic sets in as the young ladies must have a chaperone.
They persuade their friend Lord Fancourt Babberley to impersonate the aunt, which is when the fun begins.
Performances are at 7.30pm on Friday and Saturday and 2.15pm on Sunday and seating and refreshments will be provided.
Tickets cost £5, £4 (concessions) or £12 for a family ticket from Lyn on 521086 or the Forge Mill Museum shop on 62509.
