White Hart's Premier side visited Foden and again enjoyed an excellent start with winning games by Dave Kings (21-15), Stan Pritchard (21-8) and a 21-3 by Rod Brammer.

Further winners Tony Wedgbury (21-13), Martin Onions (21-15), Ray Barnett (21-12) and Mick Wigginton (21-9) ensured Hart ran out easy winners by 39 shots. With the home fixture to come the Hart are looking for a good plus to push them up the table.

The W&W Mixed team got off to a flier at home to Great Barr.

The first four cards from Marj Robinson and Dave Broome (21-5) and Ross Wigginton and Roy Facey (21-8) gave the Hart a 58 shot advantage in an eventual 64 shot win.

The over 60s hosted Bournville Sports and, with four winners, won the game by 28 shots. Beryl Harrison and Bill Radford led the way with (21-7), Gordon Harrison (21-12) and Barbara Colley (21-14) supporting.

The Yardley Wood seniors managed to retrieve a home loss by winning at Henley in Arden by four. Winning cards from Mick Wigginton (21-17), Ray Barnett (21-6) and Steve Murch (21-11).

Hart juniors, after a good away win at King George V, completed the job with a convincing 37 shot home win. Winning cards from Marj Robinson (21-6), John Robinson and Roy Facey (21-13), Stella Smith and Sheila Humphreys (21-16), Chris Willies (21-17) and Mick Robinson (21-18).

The over 60's Heart of England sidehad a tough match at home to Acocks Green BL and came back to win by 18 shots after trailing by six early on.
