ABBEYDALE residents who fear their homes could be demolished have been assured nothing will happen without their full support.

The Redditch Advertiser last week revealed plans to knock down bungalows in Dolphin Road and redevelop the site.

Redditch Council Leader David Cartwright said it was one option being looked at but after outrage from residents, who want to keep their homes, alternatives are being explored.

The council's executive committee will debate the future of the homes tonight and may suspend a decision until residents have been to spoken to on Thursday.

Mrs Gosling said residents wanted repairs carried out on the homes and they had once been told the bungalows were going to be listed.
