TOWN children took part in a hunt for precious jewels hidden in Sanders Park as part of the Jubilee celebrations and now the ten lucky winners have been announced.
Nearly 200 youngsters entered the treasure hunt for 50 golden crowns, which was held during the town's jubilee celebrations.
The youngsters searched the town park, off Kidderminster Road, high and low in their bid to discover the precious jewels, which were made by boys and girls from Charford First School, in Charford Road.
There were great prizes to be won including computer games, footballs and Star Wars bags.
The ten lucky winners were Katie Watson, Joshua Sandford, Aaron Bird, Millie Richardson, Emma Morgan, Gemma Moorcock, Karl Craven, Thomas Mayes, Phoebe Lippett and Rachael Holland.
The treasure hunt was part of the day-long celebrations organised by Bromsgrove District Council and BBC Music Live.
It was also the day of the official launch of the town's commemorative bandstand by Lord and Lady Cobham, of Hagley Hall.
Frances Johnson, the authority's tourism and marketing manager, said. "The youngsters had a great time trying to find the hidden treasure. The crowns were hidden all over the park in trees, on the lake and on the pavilion and the youngsters had a wonderful time trying to route them out."
