ENTHUSIASTIC thespians are in for a treat this week when a play brimming with drama, thrills and excitement hits a Birmingham stage.
The Crescent Theatre Company is proud to present the gripping and emotional thriller, The Herbal Bed, which opens at the Sheepcote Street theatre from tomorrow (Thursday) until to Saturday, July 6.
The play is based on actual events in Stratford-upon-Avon in the summer of 1613.
It tells the tale of Shakespeare's daughter, Susanna, who was publicly accused of having a sexual liason with a married neighbour and friend, Rafe Smith.
