RUBERY residents can table community issues at a meeting about life in the village.
The spotlight falls on the area on Thursday July 4, when representatives from Bromsgrove District Council, Worcestershire County Council, West Mercia Police and the Redditch and Bromsgrove Primary Care Trust hold a meeting at Rubery Youth and Community Centre.
A wide variety of items have been put on the tailor-made agenda, including the district's community safety partnership, health services in the village, the High Street and shopping area.
There will also be feedback from a similar meeting held in the parish earlier this year.
District council leader, councillor Dennis Norton (Con - Norton) hopes to see lots of residents at the New Road venue.
He told the Advertiser/Messenger: "This will be our second, follow-up visit to Rubery, keeping local residents up to date with issues on their door step and giving them the opportunity to talk to us face to face about matters of concern.
"There was a good turn out last time we went to Rubery and we hope this next meeting will be just as successful.
"We can all benefit by sharing our concerns and information."
The meeting begins at 7.15pm and there will be the chance for residents to raise any topic during an open question and discussion session.
