MORE volunteers are needed to help people in Bromsgrove solve their problems and better manage their lives.
Since moving from Worcester Road to more spacious premises in Birmingham Road in February, the town's Citizens' Advice Bureau (CAB) can now offer an improved service and is seeking to boost the 29 volunteers already on its books.
Manager Sonia Hambidge said: "We are looking to recruit more volunteer advisors to join us and begin a six month training course in September.
"We are also keen to hear from anyone with admin skills willing to undergo a shorter training period."
The new premises, situated opposite the Victoria Ground, are "user friendly" Sonia explained.
Now for the first time the bureau has access and facilities for disabled staff and clients.
Recent new recruit Peter Cheshire, himself a wheelchair user who works on reception, commented: "Some people come to us with very long faces but it is so rewarding to see them go off with a smile on their face.
"It is comforting to know that you are part of a team that achieves this situation," he added.
