FECKENHAM'S title hopes were dented by a heavy defeat to Cookley at the weekend.
Andy Fletcher's side went into the game with an eye on top spot but ended up on the wrong end of a 52-run loss which saw Eastnor leapfrog them into second.
The damage was limited with leaders Evesham pocketing just six points from a losing draw to Brockhampton to pull 23 points ahead of the Millers.
The Division Two side have the perfect chance to make amends tonight (Wednesday) with a League Knockout game at struggling Division One neighbours Astwood Bank.
Fletcher must be rubbing his hands at the prospect of a cup semi final against a side still reeling after being bowled out for 19 by Pedmore at the weekend.
And the villagers will expect to put their title push back on the rails at the weekend with a trip to basement boys Lye (2pm start).
