AN up and coming Bromsgrove band, who made their debut in the town last week, are looking for a new home to nurture their talent.
Method, made up of four 13-year-olds from Parkside Middle School, in Stourbridge Road, formed 12 months ago and played their first gig at the Ryland Centre, in New Road.
The group - Luke Matthews, Max Crawford, Dan Bartram and Joe Dawson - currently rehearse in their bedrooms and parents' garages.
But the punk and rock band, who play music by Black Sabbath, the Ramones and AC DC, need a long term practise venue so they can improve their chances of securing further gigs.
Luke's father, Mark, said:" They desperately need a room to go and practise. They need somewhere where they can go for two or three hours and practise without worrying how loud it is.
"They were a bit raw at the Ryland Centre but it was their first gig and they are getting there."
Mr Matthews, who has made a record with a band of his own, believes the band's style of music has been influenced by what their parents listened to.
He said: "I come from a musical background and so has Dan's (the bass player) dad. I was brought up on punk and rock so it rubs off on the kids."
And Mr Matthews knows the group are dedicated to the cause because they have made the efforts to improve off their own backs.
"It's down to the lads," he added. "They have gone out, got the gear and done it themselves."
Anyone who may be able to offer the band a home can call Mark on 01527 575821.
