ABOUT 120 Halfords staff took part in a sponsored bike ride to raise funds for a cancer charity after one of their colleagues was diagnosed with the disease.
Staff at the company's Washford headquarters took part in the event on Sunday in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Inspirational employee Jenny Babbage dropped the starting flag for the ride at 10am and the Halfords Charity Committee has pledged to match every pound raised.
The circular route started and finished at Halfords' Icknield Street Drive premises.
Keen riders rode a 30-mile route and the less energetic could choose a 20 or 10-mile ride.
