BROMSGROVE CC First XI made it two wins on the bounce as they recorded their third win of the season with a nine-wicket victory at Attock.
The Boars delivered a dominating performance against the Birmingham and Premier League first division strugglers at a time when everything seems to be coming right for Nick Husbands' side.
He said: "I was very pleased in the way that we won this game. "We knew what we needed to do and did it."
The skipper was also full of praise for a superb batting performance, which propels his side into sixth place in the table.
"We were a little bit careless in the field at times but the batting was fantastic," Husbands added.
"They gave me everything that I have been asking for all season and we have set ourselves up well."
Moseley-based Attock, newly promoted from division two west, lost the toss and batted first.
Nick Davies (3-21) was immediately among the wickets, trapping Atlas (9) lbw, before Husbands, who finished with four wickets, took Derbyshire-contracted Khan for just three.
Only Sultan Mahmood (33) seemed to be able to deal with the Bromsgrove bowlers but his effort was not enough to help his side as they were dismissed for 138.
In reply, the Boars found themselves up against Pakistani pace bowler, Naheem Iqbal, who took 94 league wickets last season.
Davies (31) and Simon Keyte (43 not out) absorbed the early pressure to ensure a solid platform before Davies went to Iqbal with the score on 48.
Paul Duffy and Keyte kept the score board ticking over and chipped away at the total and the winning runs came in 42nd as Duffy reached his half century.
Patel takes over as captain for the visit of Worcester this Saturday as Husbands is on holiday.
He will be hoping Evenson (thumb), Liddel (hand) and Court (knee) will be fit while Worcestershire's Stephen Peters, also on his way back to fitness from a hand injury, could feature.
