DEAR EDITOR - Will someone please tell me who David Simone-Jones is, how many people belong to his action group and also what did he hope to achieve with his big announcement that "there is a head lice outbreak" at Westlands First School?
That action was "action against Westlands," Mr Simone-Jones.
I am a Droitwich Spa town councillor (Lab - Droit West), my three daughters have each been to three different schools in their lives (I have lived here for more than twenty-seven years) and there have always been problems with head lice.
I object most strongly to the suggestion that Westlands First School is the only one suffering from this universal problem.
I think Mr Simone-Jones is a power hungry individual.
I suggest he talks to the established community groups on the estate, Westlands Community Association and Westlands Forward who have done enormous work for the people of the Westlands estate.
There are problems that can only be solved by agencies working together, his negative actions will achieve nothing.
Eve Freer, Droitwich Spa town councillor.
