MEMBERS were welcomed with a glass of wine and a piece of gateau to celebrate the Golden Jubilee.
The National Anthem was sung and a toast made to the Queen.
Adam Evans then kept everyone enthralled with a lovely melody of songs on the organ.
This was followed by the evening's business, when members were reminded by the president of the Jubilee barn dance and pig roast, the WI Show in Worcester, the skittles evening and the visit to Blenheim Palace.
Names were drawn for the group walk and also for the Denman bursary, Alison Nicholls being the winner.
The Jubilee cake, made by Jackie Gregory, was then cut and handed round with cups of tea and everyone took part in two table quizzes organised by Margaret Kemp.
The evening closed with five members winning raffle prizes.
