A Successful promotional party was held by the Bromsgrove & Redditch branch at member Nancy Doyle's clinic in Bromsgrove.
The meeting was attended by a number of interested ladies to whom the aims and objectives of Soroptimism were explained by president Gail Teague.
She was accompanied by regional president Mary Lloyd, from Rugby, and many executive committee members.
Great fun was had by all who attended the champagne and strawberries' party to celebrate the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
With holidays and travel in mind, the speakers gave valuable advice and information.
Nancy Doyle spoke about deep vein thrombosis and Lyndsay McEwan-Allan gave advice about healthy flying - drink plenty of water and move about as much as possible.
She showed inflatable exercise cushions and support stockings and gave advice about medication.
The business meeting that followed included the president's report, an update on the progress of projects and information about future plans and activities.
