I AM writing to express my disappointment with the planning and environment section of Wyre Forest District Council.
While always abiding by the rules and regulations demanded by those in authority, I have done so with the belief that these decision-makers who affect our lives are people to be respected - how nave of me.
The problem of parking in Cookley village centre, where I live, has now become a severe situation, with cars parking haphazardly in the evenings.
With this in mind, I objected to a planning application on the grounds that no parking could be provided. For some reason this application was passed.
On a recent Friday the village was heaving with traffic owing to both public houses nearby being very busy.
I would have liked those who made the planning decision to have been in the village, when perhaps they could have shown me where these extra cars will park.
The village is being spoiled by those I had the utmost respect for. I feel very let down.
