V Evans was a delegate at the intermediate meeting in Brighton and gave a detailed report on the event and voting on the resolutions.
Final numbers were taken for outings, on July 8 to Windsor, leaving Clows Top at 9am, and on August 7 to Coughton Court, departing at noon.
Members were reminded about the fun day at Great Witley on July 6.
John Fletcher gave an account of his job as fund-raiser for Kemp Hospice, Kidderminster. His main task at the moment is to raise funds for the building of the new hospice. As well as approaching the financial institutions and trust funds, he was delighted at the generosity of Wyre Forest people, who have already contributed £500,000 towards the project.
As well as fund-raising events, the hospice will accept old jewellery and coins.
The next meeting in the village hall at Mamble will be on Monday, September 9.
