The June speaker was John Powell, who had brought along a collection of clockwork toys, some about 100 years old.
He also demonstrated old parlour games.
Members were invited to attend the Lickhill strawberry tea, the group jubilee celebrations and the county barbecue on July 6.
The annual outing will be in September, instead of the usual July or August.
The next meeting is on July 8 in the parish room, starting at 7.30pm, when there will be a cookery demonstration.
