A CANDLELIT Concert in Hailes Church will open the 13th Hailes Music Festival on Saturday and there will be a Candlelight Finale on Saturday, July 27.
Between times, there will be a series of concerts in Hailes House Barn, Stanton Church, Hailes Church, and drama events in Hailes House Drawing Room.
Throughout the Festival in the village near Winchcombe there will be an exhibition in Hailes House Barn of Stitched Textiles by the Rubicon Textile Group.
Festival director Bernard Partridge said: "We have put together a very high quality programme of concerts with some exceptional soloists."
The soloists include Hugh Webb (harp) who is appearing on the first night, David Theodore, principal oboeist with the London Philharmonic, on Sunday, July 14, Neil Smith, guitar, on Saturday and Sunday, July 20 and 21, and Patrick Harrild, leading tuba player with the London Symphony Orchestra, at the finale on Saturday, July 27.
