TEAMS from Broadway filled the top four places when the club staged its Ladies Open Am Am last week.
With 11 local clubs represented and 31 teams enjoying perfect playing conditions, the home quartet of Lyn Chambers, Gill Dunsby, Pauline O'Hagan and Denise Parker repeated last year's success by carding an impressive net 134 after taking the two best net scores.
Four shots behind in second place were Jenny Brotherton, Jenny Bruton, June Griffin and Pat Righton with third and fourth places going to teams captained by Henrietta Cooke and Sue Edwards with scores of 140 and 141 respectively.
Teams from Evesham and Shifnal took the fifth and seventh team prizes.
Nearest the Pin prizes on the par threes were won by Lin Tattersall (Evesham) on the fifth, Jenny Bruton (Broadway) on the eighth and Barbara Clifton (Stratford) on the 13th.
Meanwhile, in a busy calendar of events, the ladies section also staged their Spring Trophy and LGU Medal competitions.
The former, a par competition, produced three winning scores of one up, with Sue Edwards declared the Trophy winner on countback from Lin Everitt and Sue Jones.
In the Medal, Pauline O'Hagan was declared the winner in the Silver Division with a magnificent 79-11-68, with Linda Carruthers second (75-4-71).
