BLIND Lemon vocalist Mark Pearsall likes to get his teeth into every gig but even he bit off more than he could chew at a recent performance.
Mark had his two front teeth broken when an over-enthusiastic fan accidentally bumped into him, causing the microphone to smash into his mouth.
Even though the accident happened early on in the popular Kidderminster band's set, the brave frontman managed to carry on singing despite his dental difficulties.
Luckily for Mark, he was able to get his teeth fixed a few days later thanks to fellow band members, saxophone player Tim Pickering, a dentist in Kingswinford, and drummer Danny Koisser, who runs a dental laboratory in Stourport.
Mark's new gnashers will take centre stage at Blind Lemon's next gig at The Kingsford, Wolverley, on Saturday starting at 9pm.
The six-piece band specialise in soul and R'n'B.
