CHAINWIRE won the battle of the bottom two in Division Five with a six-wicket victory at Bridewell.
Russell Tovey's 60 not out guided them home for 20 points in the Kidderminster derby to close the gap on fellow local rivals Stone and Brintons.
Bottom-of-the-table Bridewell earlier totalled 161-7 with Julian Gaskell firing 46 not out.
They are still searching for their first league win of the season.
