HOW dare some of your letter writers tell us what and what not to write about!
Naturally, most dog owners would prefer not to read letters of criticism. The Malvern Gazette is a local paper and deals with local issues. The problems caused by dogs is just one of many. Mr Adams (Your Letters, June 14) really has got things out of all proportion.
Most of the anti-dog letters are well argued, sensible, based on fact and point out the wider range of problems associated with dogs. On the same page we read about the awful disposal of 30,000 greyhounds each year. Sorry, Mr Adams, this serious topic will not just go away.
Thankfully there is a wind of change at last concerning dog ownership and some form of registration is long overdue - supported by good dog owners everywhere.
MR C HARRIS, Worcester Road, Malvern.
