WORCESTER Racecourse hosts one of the showpiece events of the racing calendar tomorrow with Ladies Day.
Bouquets of flowers will be awarded to the best-dressed female and the best hat on the day at Pitchcroft. And amid the festivities will be seven top-class races on offer, the highlight being the £10,000 William Hill Handicap Hurdle.
"Ladies Day is always quite an occasion," said operations manager Katherine Self.
"It is one of the showpiece days of our season and, of course, we are hoping that the weather stays fine. The day is always very popular so we are expecting a bumper crowd. We are also expecting some extremely entertaining racing."
First race gets under way at 2.15pm with the last one due at 5.30pm.
n Ante-post favourite Sarangani will miss the Foster's Lager Northumberland Plate, it was reported on Friday.
He has developed a minor illness which will rule him out of tomorrow's Newcastle showpiece.
