THE second charity tennis doubles tournament, this year in aid of the Treloar Trust, was held at Manor Park Club on Thursday.
A record number of 27 couples competed in five groups followed by a lunch prepared by Anna Paisley.
Prizes of free tennis coaching lessons were donated by the club coaches Jane Poynder, Daniel Thorp, Chris Probyn Skinner and Liz Veal and a reflexology treatment was donated by reflexologist Nicola Hall.
The winners of the groups were as follows: Red - Penny Smith and Ursula Mason, Blue - Judy Watson and Hilary Wiliams, Yellow - Sally Jewell and Irene Font, Pink - Chris Skelding and Bev Brocklehurst and Orange - Joe Riley and Sarah Titmuss.
A video was shown of the work of the Treloar Trust and together with the fees, raffle and auction it is hoped that several hundred pounds will be raised for the charity and the disabled children that it helps.
