A MAN was today believed to be in a serious condition at Worcestershire Royal Hospital after firefighters fought to free him from his car after a collision in Droitwich.
Emergency crews were scrambled to the scene at 9.10pm on Thursday after a silver Nissan Micra and a blue Rover 218 were in collision on the A442 Kidderminster to Droitwich Road near Rushock Trading Estate.
Two fire crews from Kidderminster and the emergency tender from Worcester used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the man.
Two further people were taken to the hospital. They were released shortly afterwards.
Kim Stain, of Worcester police, said the man was is a "stable but not life-threatening condition" and appealed for anyone with any information to contact Kidderminster Police on 01562 820888.
