HISTORY enthusiasts stepped back in time when a US Civil War re-enactment weekend took place.
Company C, 2nd Regiment United States Infantry thrilled visitors at Avoncroft Museum with weaponry from the American Civil War.
The group, which is part of the Union Army of the American Civil War Society, was at the Bromsgrove museum on Saturday, and Sunday.
The group has appeared at the museum on an annual basis for the last three years.
"They are always popular," said Sue Hadley, education and events officer.
"There were also displays of camp life by the group with tents and cooking.
"There were about 15 members in the group with a couple of women to act as cooks. It was a very successful."
Members of Company C, 2nd Regiment United States Infantry were divided equally between Union and Confederate units.
Visitors also enjoyed morris dancing, chainmaking and brickmaking demonstrations.
