KIDDERMINSTER Harriers to-day signed experienced midfielder Sean Parrish from Second Division Chesterfield.
It is the first capture Ian Britton has made since taking over as manager from Jan Molby.
Thirty-year-old Parrish, who moves to Aggborough on a Bosman deal, rejected the offer of a new contract at Chesterfield where had been for the past two seasons. He has signed a two-year contract with Harriers and looks likely to fill the left sided slot vacated by Richie Appleby this summer.
Parrish was part of the Chesterfield side that knocked Harriers out of the LDV Vans Trophy last season. He began his career with Shrewsbury before dropping into non-league football with Telford.
After two seasons at The Bucks Head, the Wrexham-born campaigner joined Doncaster for £20,000. He spent a couple of seasons with Rovers before moving to Northampton for £35,000. Chesterfield signed him in June, 2000.
