PUPILS at Lickey End First School will be walking the walk on Monday morning to help do their bit for the environment.
A walking bus will be used on Monday to encourage children and parents to leave the car at home.
The ten-minute walk will hopefully replace the school run, resulting in less traffic on the roads and less pollution in the air.
Worcestershire County Council's road safety officer, Roger Woodward, said: "The aims of the walking bus are to ease congestion, both on the road and those parked outside the school, and give children a healthy activity before starting their school day."
The bus will leave Spadesbourne Road, and Longmeadow and Meadowvale roads at 8.40am to get to the school, in School Lane, for the bell at 8.50am.
