TWO workers from a major Hereford firm have taken part in one of Britain's toughest challenges for charity.
Andrew Leedurn and Chris Holmes took part in the recent Offa's Dyke Challenge, hoping to raise up to £10,000 for charities.
The pair, both employers at cider giant Bulmers, had to endure 177 miles of hardship stretching from Prestatyn, North Wales, all the way to Chepstow, in the week-long challenge - the equivalent of running a marathon every day for a week.
Both men, who are in their 40s, are keen runners and had trained to get in the best possible shape for the ordeal.
The pair hope their epic run will have raised a substantial sum for local charities including the Charles Renton cancer unit at Hereford Hospital and Taste for Adventure, which helps underprivileged children experience outdoor activities.
