A YOUTH who was fishing in Hereford punched one of a group of other youths who were throwing stones into the river.
Police said he approached the group and punched one of them in the face and left the scene.
The offender is described as a white male, about 18 years old, 6ft 3ins tall, of slim build with short dark hair.
He was wearing trousers and a white T-shirt.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who was near the Victoria Footbridge in Hereford on the south bank of the River Wye at around 3pm on Saturday, June 22.
