STUDENTS at a Worcestershire school are brightening up a new office at West Mercia police headquarters.
Girls at Holy Trinity School, in Kidderminster, have handed over 23 pieces of framed artwork to the new call management centre at Hindlip.
They had been asked to create a series of paintings to reflect changing cultural values and a move into an era of high technology.
"We were absolutely delighted to be asked to produce a series of paintings for the staff," said Margaret Bishop, head of art at the independent school.
"The girls were taken to Hindlip earlier in the year to allow them to collect ideas and to also get a feel for the building and therefore a concept of the type of completed artwork required.
"The end results are an incredible achievement, which reach great heights of artistic expertise for students at this level of creative development."
The artwork is currently on display at the school until Friday when it will be moved to Hindlip.
"The artwork produced by the students is of an extremely high standard," said Assistant Chief Constable Margaret Wood.
"We are grateful for the effort the students have put in.
"All the finished pieces will be hung in and around the new call management centre for our staff and visitors to enjoy."
