REGARDING the parking at the new hospital, could we not utilise the park-and-ride service to take people to and from the hospital?
Judging from the traffic on the Droitwich and Ombersley roads in the morning rush-hour and the empty buses, no one is using it. I live in Claines and if I worked in town, I would gladly use this service.
I use it when not at work - however, as I work in Upton-upon-Severn and there is a bus about once every three weeks, which takes hours, I have to use the car!
Concerning litter in Worcester, this is becoming dreadful in the city centre (Angel Place and Lowesmoor in particular) and especially all along the riverside area.
No doubt it will all be cleared up and be spotless for the judges' inspection for Britain in Bloom and Worcester in Bloom and then revert back to the disgusting mess that it usually is! Worcester has become a very grimy and dirty city - hardly the way to attract tourists.
CLAIRE GARBITT, Worcester.
