A FORMER King's School pupil will be returning to her old stamping ground to perform in a concert to raise money to train guide dogs.
Shulah Oliver, who is currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London, will be performing pieces by Elgar, Beethoven, Gershwin, Shostakovich and Sarate.
Shulah, on violin, will be accompanied by Joseph Middleton on piano at the King's School College Hall, College Green, Worcester.
Shulah, aged 20, led the Worcestershire Youth Orchestra for three years and went busking on the streets to raise the money to train a guide dog puppy.
Now she hopes to pay for a second puppy to be trained with the proceeds from the concert at 7.30pm. tomorrow.
Entrance is free but there will be a retiring collection, programmes for sale and a raffle for prizes, including a meal for two at The Pear Tree Inn, vouchers for Jessops and prizes donated by Boots and Music 47, in Sidbury.
"It costs about £2,500 to put a guide dog puppy through training from six weeks to 18 months or two years old," said Shulah.
Puppy walking
"My family started puppy walking about eight years ago and I did work experience at the RNIB New College. Working with the visually impaired is something I would like to do later on in my career."
Shulah is looking forward to returning to King's.
"I am looking forward to coming back - it's a really nice hall" she said.
