GREENLANDS Jetskiier Andy Rich is pinning his championship hopes on arch rival Ray Purkiss failing to show for Round Four of the British Summer Series at Loch Ness.
Rich heads north to compete in Scotland at the weekend and says organisers have heard nothing from the series leader.
Rich became winter series champion and sits second in the leaderboard for the six round summer series as he chases the double.
Purkiss' powerful machine has seen off all comers and Rich's hopes it would malfunction have been frustrated.
A win for Rich at the weekend would mean the youngest rider in the series needing only second places in the final two rounds to clinch the series and he is confident.
And Rich's dad Mike says he is expecting a no-show from the leader.
