OAKENSHAW driver Enzo Mucci is already turning his thoughts to next season after another stop-start year took a turn for the worse.
Lack of sponsors ruined Mucci's hopes for a drive last year and the same problem stopped him competing in the latest round of the Renault Clio Cup at Brands at the weekend.
His Atlanta racing team told him they were £1,500 short at the eleventh hour, to leave a frustrated Mucci kicking his heels.
And now the Redditch star has decided to turn his attentions to the USA where the crowds, prize money and media coverage are greater.
Mucci is hoping to break into the Formula Barber Dodge Pro Series, the equivalent of the British Formula 3 series.
The Dodge championship is two levels below the Indy Car series and Mucci is hoping to play on the scarcity of Brits competing across The Pond.
The next round of the Clio Cup is at Croft in two weeks.
