A free family fun day takes place at Forge Mill Museum on National Archaeology Day.
The event features activities including calligraphy and ink making and spinning and weaving willow, from 11am-4pm on Sunday, July 21.
A display of needlework from the finalists of the Henry Foyle Trust national competition can also be seen.
Forces of Nature is on show until October 13.
