BROMSGROVE motorists could be re-united with missing car badges following the arrest of four 14-year-old boys.
Officers from the community safety team, who investigate all types of car crime, are particularly keen to hear from anyone in the Woodlands Grange estate, in the former Barnsley Hall Hospital ground, who had a badge stolen.
More than 70 badges have been recovered.
Sgt Brian Russell said: "We need to hear from anyone in Appletrees Crescent and Reed Mace Drive who may have been a victim, but not reported it to the police.
"This may have been because they may not have even noticed it missing.
Officers have spoken to the four teenagers who were arrested for the thefts and they are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.
"We want people to know these thefts are investigated and although to some the theft of car badges may appear trivial, there is still a victim and someone still has to pay for the replacement badges," added Sgt Russell.
