BRAINY Bromsgrove students are the proud recipients of prestigious mathematical awards.
Ninety pupils from Catshill Middle School, in Meadow Road, were entered for the UK Junior Maths Challenge by maths teacher Dave Beeston. And 48 walked away with a prize.
Twenty-six achieved Bronze awards, 17 won Silver awards, and the highly coveted Gold award was achieved by five students.
"They are the best results we have ever had," said headmaster Stewart Burns.
"I'm over the moon."
He accredits the success to the dedication of the teachers and the hard work staff put in to achieve high standards of teaching.
