A MAJOR appeal to build a new hospice, which would benefit sick children in Bromsgrove and Rubery, has grown by a staggering £90,000 in the last month.
The Acorns' Three Counties Appeal, launched in April, needs to collect £4m to build a new ten-bed hospice in Worcester. It would serve life-limited children from Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire.
In May, nearly £90,000 was collected, bringing the total amount raised so far to £388,246. To make a donation or to find out more about fundraising call Fran Winterbourn on 01905 767676.
