CARING Rubery children stepped out for needy youngsters when they entered a national event to raise cash for Barnardo's.
Forty-four pupils from Holywell Primary and Nursery School, on Gunner Lane, took part in the Big Toddle 2002.
They have raised more than £100 for the young people's charity and money is still pouring in.
"The children had a wonderful time," said nursery teacher Cynthia Beckett. "For them it's a wonderful way of supporting children who are less fortunate than themselves."
