GURBUX Singh, chairman, Commission for Racial Equality, says tackling racism in rural areas is a big issue.
But racist or non-racist, all those living in and around the proposed Throckmorton Hilton must surely be grateful when the Council for Racial Equality also tells the Home Office "centres must be built near towns and cities, rather than in isolation".
Then again, Mr Singh is also on record as saying "the concerns of white working-class people are not being addressed."
