STUDLEY skipper Mark Lewis says his side are one of half a dozen who could win the league in a wide open Division Two East table.
The Washford Fields side slipped to a losing draw at Moseley Ashfield at the weekend but Lewis said it was crucial to avoid defeat in a tight championship race.
Studley started the day third, just six points behind leaders Kings Heath and the table toppers drew with Water Orton to limit the damage as Studley slipped a place, behind Walmley.
Studley have a potential championship decider at home to new leaders Water Orton on Saturday (1pm start) in a game which has added spice after the opposition tried to lure away Studley star Stuart Harris.
Lewis' side are 16 points adrift of the visitors and can overhaul that gap, and possibly go top, with a weekend win.
Lewis is hoping to field an unchanged side at the weekend.
